Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access allow us to perform all sorts of sophisticated data analytics. However, these tools can be intimidating, especially for someone who doesn’t know much about data analysis. One of the best ways to learn new techniques is to do what I do and ask another data analyst to teach you. That’s what I did to become an Excel analyst. Over the years I have worked with many data analysts and learned a lot.

This is a great question but I have to wonder why most people dont like to share data. I see this all the time with people asking me, “how do you know if an item is in a bin?”. I usually use the visual inspection tool in Excel to find items that might be in a bin. Sometimes I use the Quick Data Export tool to export my data to a different tab in Excel so I can just look at it there.

If you are looking for items in a bin, you can drag and drop them into the visual inspection tool and it will show you what they might be.
