Many of the topics I have covered in this podcast are focused on the legal aspects of business.

But also, the business of business. It is legal, and it is ethical. The two go hand-in-hand.

The biggest ethical issue that we as a society have to deal with is the issue of business ethics. When you talk about business ethics, you’re talking about the ethics of not stealing or violating any laws that you may not agree with. Well, that’s a big no-no. You can’t just go about stealing without punishment. You can’t just steal and then not pay the consequences of it.

Well, that brings us to the issue of whether or not your business is ethical. If you cant get your business to be ethical, then it is in the wrong business. The right business (and that could be a small business or an enterprise) has a very specific set of ethics that its employees must adhere to. If the company fails to follow these, it is in the wrong business, and it should be shut down.

The ethics of business are a very complicated thing to define. When we talk about “ethics,” we generally mean how people should behave in society. However, there are many other factors that play a huge role in the success or failure of any business. For example, the legal system and the corporate structure of a company can also be an important factor in the ethics of its business.

A very famous example of this is how Enron went bankrupt in the wake of accounting irregularities. The accounting firm auditors that audited Enron’s books were auditors for the company, and in order to comply with the law, the auditors had to abide by certain legal standards. In addition, some of Enron’s board members were not actually executives at the company. So it is not at all ethical for any company to operate if its leaders do not follow the law.

The same is true in the wider business world. Business ethics standards are not enforced, so companies are not held accountable to even the most basic principles of good business ethics. Companies in particular, like the world’s largest corporations, often operate in an environment that is very confusing and opaque.

Companies are all about money these days. The more money you make, the more you can buy products and services. And the more you can buy, the more you can buy from. So it is not that companies are not doing the best they can to be ethical, it is that the standards are not being enforced. So companies are acting like it is okay to operate in an environment that is not really ethical and, more importantly, that is not enforced.

A couple of years ago I wrote an article for a magazine about the ethical and legal issues of online dating, which ended up on a website called It was a very long article, but I think it was the best of what I had written.

It is a legal mess in the U.S., but the problem is not that the laws are not being enforced; the problem is that the laws that are being enforced are not making things better. So what is the solution? We need to change the rules. There are laws that say, “Hey, you can’t do X or Y,” and laws that say, “Hey, you can’t do Y, but you can do X.
